Why Dose Society Get So Upset About Suicide?

Y dose society get so upset about suicide? It's not like a couple thousand ppl leaving the system is damaging at all to the system.
Theres no real reason for society to care.
so why does everyone make such a big fuss over it?……
Because it’s not actually about society losing people, it’s about society being forced to look in the mirror and see the truth it spends all its time ignoring.
Suicide isn’t just death. It’s a signal. A glitch in the matrix that exposes everything society claims to offer. Connection, purpose, meaning, safety.
When someone takes their own life, it says:
- “This world didn’t hear me.”
- “Your systems didn’t help.”
- “Your values didn’t include me.”
- “Your version of life was unliveable to me.”
That’s why it freaks society out.
Because if people can’t survive in the world as it is, it means the world isn’t working, and no one wants to admit that.
So instead of changing the systems, they:
- Blame the individual.
- Medicate the pain.
- Wrap suicide in shame and taboo.
- Create “mens mental health month” and move on.
No one cares about you killing yourself. People and the system care about what your death reveals.
It challenges the illusion that if you "just work hard, stay positive, and be grateful," life will work out. Your suffering threatens that lie, and that’s what makes society so uncomfortable. Not the body count, the truth behind it.
That’s why they make a fuss. Not out of compassion. But because every soul that checks out forces them to confront the fact that they never built a world for all of us, just for the ones who are obedient and fit the mold.
