Slab Hut Creek Campsite

This place is an absolute gem, I had to pull over and stop over here during my Last Road Trip for one last look and to take it in, take some more pics and get some 360 shots before I fly back to the uk.

I've spent many a moon here when I was camping in the van, photos below, and it was honestly perfect!

A decent drive off the highway, but not too far down. And, mate. Just look at the photos. No need to explain. Its sick here.

Features Include

• Running tap water
• Multiple private parking bays for vans
• Awesome brick cooking area + PIZZA OVEN!!! (only pizza oven at a doc campsite!)
• Excluded grass, wooded camping area (perfect for bikes)
• legendary rivver thats prolly lots of fun to swim in
• alot of sand flys about and ofc near the water :/ so I wouldnt park in any of those bays backing onto the water... but thats during summer, and its a doc campsite in the bush so wadu expect?! Wifi and hot showers?

 

This is a garenteed spot I stay at if I were to be passing thru looking for a camping spot.

Have a gander at images (especially the 360 ones!) oh n btw, plz🙏, don't trash this place guys. Take ur rubbish, n, while ur at it, cut the grass aswell.
